Beware the octopus of the Deep! The steampunk Octopus Trinket Box displays a remarkable design with a secret cubby in its head for keepsakes. The mechanical octopus shows off numerous limbs with small cogs and links lining the edge of each leg, and glassy eyes. This cephalopod is hand-painted and crafted from cold cast bronze, and sits at 10 8/10 X 8 9/10 X 4 1/2. The fearsome Luutnantti Thon of the Finnish Navy warned Aunt Matilda of a ferocious sea creature that was part marine animal and part monster. Aunt Matilda was astonished to find a protective yet kind aquatic automaton in place of a malicious cryptid. A small geared-up octopus came back with Aunt Matilda that day.
